Under an hour’s drive from Colombo, Negombo offers a peaceful escape. Its golden beaches and laid-back atmosphere provide an ideal backdrop for relaxation. Explore Dutch-era architecture, visit the fish market abuzz with local life, and take a boat ride along the intricate network of canals that earned Negombo the moniker ‘Little Rome.’ 

A day trip to Unawatuna & Galle Fort

A little over an hour’s drive from Colombo, the iconic Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, showcases the best of European colonial architecture and South Asian traditions. Game drives through Udawalawe National Park

A safari at Udawalawe National Park is a day trip that will take you to the heart of Sri Lanka’s natural beauty. Departing from Ishq Talpe at 8 am, your first stop is an Elephant Transit Home, where at 10:30 am, you’ll witness an hour of heartwarming baby elephant feeding time. After this, a short 10-minute transfer will take you to a River Camp, where a riverside village lunch awaits at approximately 12noon. Enjoy a range of local cuisine, Sri Lankan including sweetmeats. By 1:30 pm, gear up for an exhilarating 4×4 safari inside Udawalawe National Park, a sanctuary for diverse wildlife. Enjoy a thrilling ride through the park, taking in stunning landscapes, and capturing glimpses of Asian Elephants and the elusive Leopard among others in their natural habitat. As the safari concludes at around 5:15 pm to 5:30 pm, head back to Ishq Talpe. Anticipate arriving around 8 pm, enriched by a day filled with awe-inspiring sights and heartwarming moments. 

Trekking in Kanneliya Rainforest

A day trip to Kanneliya Rainforest offers an enchanting escape into a realm of biodiversity and serenity.
